            Timothy M. McMahon is based in Corona and litigates cases in Northern and Southern California.  He has been in practice for 30 years including 4 years as a Deputy District Attorney in Alameda County in Northern California where he tried 68 jury trials to completion.  Mr. McMahon practiced many years in Northern California before relocating to Southern California and is familiar with courts throughout the State of California.


            Mr. McMahon has years of experience defending complex litigation matters including construction defect cases representing owners, developers, general contractors, subcontractors and their insurance carriers.  He also defends cases regarding claims of personal injury, products liability, professional liability and premises liability.  Mr. McMahon is also experienced in business litigation cases.


            Mr. McMahon has defended numerous multi-million dollar cases to successful conclusion and his last trial in Barstow, California resulted in a non-suit in favor of his clients against claims for breach of contract, defamation, intentional infliction of emotional distress and unfair business competition involving real estate brokers.  Costs were recovered and were awarded to Mr. McMahon’s clients.


            Mr. McMahon received his Juris Doctor in 1975 from Hastings College of the Law, University of California, and his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Davis in 1972.  He is a member of the Riverside County Bar Association, the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Defense Research Institute, the Harley Owners’ Group and BMW Riders of San Diego County.
